Giant Maintenance & Restoration has two divisions, powerwashing and municipal services.

We incorporated the business in the name Giant Maintenance & Restoration, Inc., d.b.a. Giant Powerwashing. Beverly Giarrante holding 51% shares and Mark Giarrante holding 49% shares.

Being the primary owner not only does Beverly stay involved in all of the daily office management duties she has also been very instrumental in our marketing & scheduling of our information expos. Beverly Giarrante is a key to our continued growth and success.

Company was established, selling pressure washers, miscellaneous cleaning supplies and provided exterior power washing services.

About Giant Maintenance & Resoration

1989

  Brothers Mark & John Giarrante (brother) start Giant selling pressure washers and provided exterior power washing services.

1990

  The service industry of our business was the direction we wanted to focus on.

1992

  Brother leaves company to persue other personal interests

1993

  Restructure company to offer services to municipal and other government run entities, commercial & industries, properties, & business property management companies.

1997

  Beverly Giarrante started working for the company on a part time basis.

1998

  Started a 24 hour emergency graffiti removal service – became exclusive company to services several communities, including Lake County Department of Transportation & Lake County Public Works Department many of which we still service today.

2001

  Noticed an increase in a need for other types of municipal services.

Joined Illinois American Water Works Association, the North Suburban Water Works Associations and affiliated members of the AWWA.

We started to offer exterior water storage tank cleaning along with fire hydrant painting.

2006

  We saw a return of over 80% of the villages from previous 3-5 years. Along with an additional increase in both tank cleaning & fire hydrant painting.

2007

 

Expanded our market to include southern Wisconsin communities & offers services to private utilities companies, private owned & operated, Water tanks & Fire Hydrants.

Joined WRWA – booth at trade shows

Started a Website

2008

 

Started to send information to other states and bid on several out of state projects to expand our market coverage.

We received contracts in Wisconsin for fire hydrants and two tank cleaning contracts.

With a serious interest from Bowling Green, Kentucky and Austin, Texas subcontracted by Wachs we foresee steady growth over the next 5-7 Years.

2009

 

Start long term 2 year minimum contract with Wachs for City of Austin, Texas.

City of Austin contract includes a total of 4,000 minimum fire hydrants, 1st year up to 8,000 second year with an extension clause for additional 4 years.

We worked out distribution deal with Motsenbockers to carry their environmentally friendly product line through our existing customer base.

Beverly Giarrante is seeking applying for female owned small business status.

  Will be spent working on possible expansion of market in New Mexico and Arizona we will also continue exploring the market to offer our superior services and products across the country one state at a time.

2011

  Continue to increase our Midwest business to include Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

2012

  Targeting more southern states, Georgia, Northern Florida.
